Use and Transport
maintenance and cleaning
Do not use chemical or abrasive products, nor bushings, steel wool or similar to remove stains, as this will permanently damage the surface of the product; Do not disassemble or alter the structure of the products, as this can cause permanent damage and also expose sharp parts that could cause accidents.
Accessories
Use only accessories recommended by Stalo
installation and assembly
Install or assemble the product according to the instructions on the package to ensure the integrity of the product.
Bus Routes
The frames of whiteboards and flip charts can be damaged or broken if they are impacted when placed on the floor. Therefore, when placing the products on transport or in your storage, do it with care.
Movement
Moving horizontally can warp the surface, causing permanent damage to the frame or flip chart or causing sharp edges to be exposed. Therefore, if there is a need to move horizontally, do it so that the two sides are at the same level and aligned (do not twist the frame).
Moisture
Humid environments can cause the product to develop mildew (in the case of wood) or rust (in the case of metal). Stalo has treated raw materials to avoid this, but it is important that the products are safe from moisture.
Storage
Always store with the longer side resting on the floor, in the case of frames. For other products, store as recommended on the packaging. Storing the frame horizontally in your stock can cause it to warp and bulge, and even blister the frame. Do not place other products on top as they may cause permanent damage. If needed, check out our FRAME DISPLAY for easy display and storage in your store.
Heat
High temperatures can cause the products used to bond the surface structure to melt causing blistering or peeling. Therefore, avoid high temperatures in storage environments (above 60ºC).
LIABILITY IN A STALO
Toy and small frame certification
The certification of products that are considered toys – including frames of up to 1,5 kg – is mandatory. This certification ensures that the manufacturing processes are well designed, in addition to guaranteeing safe and suitable final products for use by children. Stalo products undergo this certification annually and we are always improving our processes, packaging and products to deliver you the best.
SUSTAINABILITY AT A STALO:
Reverse logistic
Since 2010, the National Solid Waste Policy (PNRS) has been created, which aims, among other things, to establish procedures and means to enable the collection and return of solid waste to the business sector for reuse. In practice, reverse logistics is carried out through systems that promote the collection, reuse, recycling, treatment and/or final disposal of waste generated after the consumption of various products – whether the product itself is no longer used, or its packaging is discarded. Stalo, in partnership with EURECICLO, does its part, reusing part of the packaging and plastics it puts on the market.
Use of reforestation wood
All suppliers of wood or wooden boards from Stalo must have a seal (such as the FSC) that certifies that the origin of the wood is from reforestation and that there is sustainable management of forests, as well as the supplier's compliance with Brazilian environmental laws. Stalo only uses reforestation wood in its products.
